I am 87 . I had breast cancer, radiation and chemo all in 2003. I have had bone scans every 2 years. Last year it showed osteoporosis of the spine. My oncologist who I really admire insisted I take Prolia. I was afraid to and waited 2 months before starting it. He insisted and after talking it out with him about my fears, I took it.I tolerated the first injection well and I excercise, I have never had a fracture. My sister has severe osteoporois with crippling. It scares me. What is the best calcium to take? I do take calcium and Vit. D.
